About Sandy Plains Connection

Sandy Plains Connection is a korean bbq in Marietta, Georgia. It is listed at 700 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066, which places it among the local businesses of Marietta that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 135 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for korean bbq in Marietta. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Marietta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Marietta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I am not the Korean food eater. Very pricey menu!

Very nice little section of businesses. We frequent this area because we absolutely LOVE eating at Tofu Village. Highly recommend!

We had dinner in this area called the Tofu Village and it was alright. This is definitely not a place to go to if you want all you can eat Korean food. The dishes and meats are expensive and don't get the spare ribs because it's like chewing rubber and the meat is very little for what you pay for. Disappointing...

As someone who has been spoiled by hundreds of (AYCE) KBBQ places in Los Angeles, I was vastly disappointed. It was too pricey that we did not even end up getting KBBQ. It was also in a very isolated area that we just happened to bump into on the way to Atlanta. It is a traditional Korean restaurant. We just had jiggae which I think was really good. Also their Korean service was, as always, amazing and very accommodating. As strangers in the place, that's something we appreciated. They also have these weird kisses-shaped things on the ceiling which I think makes a good lunch conversation.

The Korean BBQ place was great. I think the name is Tofu "something". I would have been turned off just by the name, but my daughter picked this place and we were both very pleased. Our first Korean bbq experience. Service was good and food too.
